Synopsis

Peter Parker (Spider-Man) and his date Debra Whitman are at a medieval renaissance fair in Central Park. Ben Grimm and Alicia Masters are also there. While Ben entertains a fan, a pathetically bad wanna-be magician suddenly finds himself possessed by an evil wizard from another dimension. While Peter and Alicia talk (to poor Deb's dismay), the evil wizard (named Sardeth) experiments with his newfound powers. Step one seems to be to make the maypole come alive and start lifting people into the air. While Ben "kills" the maypole, Peter gets Debra to safety, and costumes up. The wizard then transforms a ren-fair knight into the real thing, and Spidey quickly butts into the fight. Ben starts to wander off, worried about Alicia, but Spider-Man can't handle the knight and has to sucker Ben back into the battle. After making sure Alicia is safe, Spider-Man and the Thing head out after the bad guy...
